The 3500/15 comes in two forms: AC and DC, and is compatible with voltage sources around the world. It adopts row noise filtering as the standard form. Single power supply or redundant dual power supply can be used in the framework when power interruption is not allowed. They are located in the upper and lower parts of the leftmost slot of the frame, respectively. Redundant power supplies can be powered by different voltage sources, such as the main power supply being powered by a 120Vac power supply, and the backup power supply being powered by an uninterrupted 24Vdc power supply.
Each power supply can independently power the entire framework and its modules. When using a redundant power supply form, one serves as the main power supply for the framework and the other serves as a backup. When the main power supply fails, the backup power supply immediately automatically activates the main power module function to avoid interruption of the framework's operation.
The 3500/15 power module has a self check function that can monitor whether all output voltages meet specifications and display them through the green "Supply OK" LED on the front panel of the power module.
