Framework interface module

The Rack Interface Module (RIM) is the main interface between the 3500 rack and configuration, display, and status monitoring software. Each frame requires an RIM to be installed in the frame slot adjacent to the power module. RIM supports proprietary protocols that use 3500 Configuration Software 1 to configure the framework and extract framework data and status information for use in the 3500 operator display software. When Bently Nevada condition monitoring software is used in conjunction with the 3500 system, RIM also uses our proprietary data manager ®  Protocol connection to the corresponding external communication processor, such as TDXnet ™、 TDIX or DDIX, etc. The RIM must be located in the rack slot adjacent to the power supply. The RIM contains system OK relay 2, which is triggered by the NOT OK status of the RIM itself and other modules in the framework.
