Porous titanium plates are widely used as gas diffusion layers in the electrolysis industry. The gas diffusion layer is a key component used in electrolysis cells to transport hydrogen and oxygen to the electrode reaction surface and to transport the electric current generated by the reaction back into the electrolyte.
The porous titanium plate has the following advantages as a gas diffusion layer:
1. High gas permeability: The porous titanium plate has uniform pore size distribution and high porosity, which can provide high-efficiency gas permeability, so that the gas diffusion layer has good gas transport performance during the electrolysis process.
2. Good conductivity: The porous titanium plate has good conductivity, which can effectively transport the current generated by the reaction to the electrolyte and improve the electrolysis efficiency.

Application of Porous Titanium Plate
-Can be used as a gas diffusion layer in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFC).
-The titanium filters made from sintered titanium plates can be utilized for filtration in corrosive and high-temperature settings.
-It can be used as an electrode material for the manufacture of anodes and cathodes in electrolytic cells. Due to the chemical stability and good corrosion resistance of titanium metal itself, the porous titanium plate can maintain good stability and durability in harsh environments such as strong acid and strong alkali.
-It can be made into an electrolytic cell diaphragm to isolate the anode and cathode and prevent the current short circuit between them. The porous titanium plate diaphragm has a good pore structure and ventilation performance, which can ensure the flow and distribution of the electrolyte evenly.
-It can be made into an anode protector to prevent metal equipment from being damaged by electric corrosion. Porous titanium plate anode protector has good corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity, which can effectively protect equipment.
