Product features and advantages

The additive can effectively reduce the surface tension of the water-based coating, which is particularly helpful for the wetting and leveling of the substrate. It may slightly stabilize the foam without affecting the recoating property. This additive does not increase the surface smoothness. If it needs high surface smoothness, it is recommended to use it with polysiloxane additives such as VOK®-333。  

Recommended dosage

0.5-2% additive dosage (purchase form) is based on the total formula.

The additive is added to the finished coating. However, it can also be used at any stage of the coating production process.

Features and advantages of curing products and polishing agents VOK®-FL 3400 can reduce the surface tension of water-based curing products, thus improving the wetting and leveling of the substrate.

It may slightly stabilize bubbles, not affect subsequent coating, nor increase surface smoothness.

Recommended use

The additive is especially recommended for self brightening lotion (matt and high gloss), wax cleaner and semi aqueous cleaner with more than 5% plasticizer content.

0.05-1% additive dosage (purchase form) is based on the total formula.

The additive is added to the finished formula. However, it can also be used at any stage of the production process. Before being used in the system containing plasticizer, the additive shall be diluted to 10% nonvolatile with volatile plasticizer.
