German technical background VOK®- AP 8563 wax dispersion

Wax dispersion, based on the mixture of EVA and EAA copolymer, is used in solvent based effect paint system to improve the orientation of effect pigment; Prevent settling in tank and circulating pump.

Chemical composition: dispersion of ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and ethylene acrylic acid copolymer (EAA) wax.

Storage and transportation

The product is sensitive to temperature. It must be stored and transported below 5 ℃, and mixed evenly before use.

Special reminder

Granulation test method:

Disperse the wax additive at 4 m/s for 5 minutes, add 20% butyl acetate, keep it at 4 m/s for 2 minutes, and use a 100 µ m film applicator to scrape the glass plate. The film shall be transparent and free of particles during drying.

Fineness test method: scraper fineness meter, ISO1524

Disperse the wax additive at 4 m/s for 5 minutes, and test it with a 50 µ m scraper fineness meter. The fineness is 15 µ m.
