2. Physicochemical properties:
White crystal, non-toxic, odorless, tasteless. It is slightly soluble in water, in hot ethanol, pyridine, concentrated hydrochloric acid and hot sulfuric acid, and insoluble in cold methanol, ether, acetone, benzene and chloroform.
Purpose:
It is mainly used to synthesize new disinfectants, water treatment agents, bleaching agents, chlorinating agents, bromides, antioxidants, paint coatings, selective herbicides and metal cyanide inhibitors. It can also be directly used as chlorine stabilizers in swimming pools, flame retardants for nylon, polyester, polyurethane, foam plastics and polyamide fibers. Butadiene rubber heat stabilizer, polypropylene film light stabilizer, cosmetic additives, etc.
