The GE T60 transformer protection device can provide protection functions for transformers with 2 to 5 windings. The following is an introduction to its relevant parameters:
Protection function parameters:

Differential protection: Adopts dual-slope and dual-inflection point proportional differential characteristics, with inrush current and overexcitation braking functions. The reference winding can be selected automatically or manually, allowing a CT ratio mismatch of up to 32:1 between terminals. It can also eliminate zero-sequence components and attenuated DC components in the differential signal.

Harmonic braking: Equipped with secondary harmonic inrush current braking function. The proportional secondary harmonic value can be customized, and it can be set to traditional or adaptive mode. It can also choose phase-separated braking, single-phase braking for three phases, or average value braking. At the same time, the fifth harmonic braking function is integrated into the proportional differential function for overexcitation protection.

Ground fault protection: Restricted Ground Fault (RGF) protection, also known as zero-sequence differential protection, provides sensitive ground fault detection for low-amplitude fault currents. It can protect ground faults close to the neutral point and fault conditions with lower sensitivity than the main differential protection.

Overcurrent protection: Provides instantaneous sub-cycle and time-delay protection functions for phase, ground, and neutral currents. It offers a variety of standard curves, including 3 IEEE curves, 4 IEC curves, 4 GEIAC curves, I²t curves, and definite time curves, as well as 4 user-programmable curves.

Voltage protection: Includes protection functions such as undervoltage, overvoltage, neutral point voltage, auxiliary undervoltage, auxiliary overvoltage, and overexcitation.

Frequency protection: Equipped with overfrequency and underfrequency protection components, which can provide protection for high-frequency or load-shedding applications.

Measurement parameters: It can measure parameters such as current, voltage, power, electric energy, frequency, and temperature. It can provide measurement data such as phase, true RMS, active power, reactive power, apparent power, and power factor. The wave recording is 64 samples per cycle, with up to 64 wave recording records. There are 1024 time-stamped events for event recording, and the digital input scanning is 0.5ms.
Communication parameters: Networking options include fiber optic Ethernet (with redundancy option), RS485, RS422, G.703, C37.94, RS232, etc. It supports multiple protocols such as IEC 61850, DNP 3.0 Level 2, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, IEEE1588, etc.
Other parameters: It can be configured with up to 80 digital inputs and 56 digital outputs, and supports transmitter I/O (RTD, dcmA). The front panel has a display screen and a keyboard for direct on-site access, with an
RS232 port for on-site access via PC.
