Control function: Cooperate with Foxboro DCS fieldbus module (FBM) to perform regulation, logic, timing, and sequence control.
Data processing: Conduct data collection, alarm detection, and notification.
Communication connection: Connect to the Foxboro DCS control network via standard fiber optic or 100 Mbps copper cable through a network adapter installed on the motherboard.
FBM support: Supports up to 128 compact or standard 200 series FBMs; Or a combination of up to 128 100 series and 200 series FBMs (with no more than 64 100 series FBMs per PIO bus/backplane port), without the need for fieldbus communication modules, supporting expansion of fieldbus without the need for expansion modules.
