Performance:
As methylene acceptor adhesive, PENORL® PN-20 contains no free formaldehyde, and has low vapor pressure to reduce the volatile smog and loss of resorcinol when the processing temperature above 150℃.
When PENORL® PN-20 react with methylene donor (such as rubber adhesive MF510, MF520, RA-65, HMMM), then generate thermosetting resin, which effectively promote the adhesion between rubber and steel cord or fabric cord.
Application:
PENORL® PN-20 resin can be used as methylene acceptor adhesive to replace the resorcinol monomer.
Suggested ratio: 2-5 phr PENORL® PN-20 resin can be used with 2-5 phr methylene donor (such as rubber adhesive MF510, MF520, HMMM, RA-65).
* Please be noted that PENORL® PN-20 resin doesn’t work without methylene donor.
Packing and Storage:
1. It is packed in Kraft paper bags lined with plastic film, net weight is 25kg/bag.
2. It should be stored in a cool, dry warehouse.
3. The shelf life is 12 months.
