German technical background VOK ®- DF A515 silicon free polymer defoamer
Is used for solvent based, solvent-free epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester/vinyl ester resin and polyurethane systems as well as adhesives. Improve the wettability of the fiber, especially for vinyl ester resin, high thixotropic gel coat and acrylate resin (size).

Product features and advantages
VOK ®- DF A515 is a defoamer with high surface activity, which has fiber wettability in unsaturated polyester resin and vinyl ester resin systems. In the hand paste and fiber spraying steps, VOK ®- DF A515 is normally connected with VOK ®- DF A555 or VOK ®- DF A501 is used together. In high thixotropic gel coat, VOK ®- DF A515 is usually the only effective defoamer. VOK ®- DF A515 is also used for acrylic resin (slurry) to prevent air entrapment.
Recommended use
General defoamer for room temperature curing plastic system based on unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester resin and acrylate. In some resins, VOK ®- DF A515 will cause fog shadow.
Recommended dosage
The dosage of 0.1-0.5% additives (purchased form) is based on the general formula.
The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.
Adding method and processing guidance
Stir and add to the resin before adding other components.

Product features and advantages
VOK ®- DF A515 is a defoamer with fiber wetting property, applicable to all solvent based and solvent-free adhesives and sealants. It is especially recommended for acrylate system and polyurethane system.
Recommended dosage
The dosage of 0.1-0.5% additives (purchased form) is based on the general formula.
