Feature
Compared with traditional ceramic insulators, the use of polymer/silicon rubber-based insulators has several advantages, such as light weight, non-brittleness, hydrophobicity, resistance to ozone and UV radiation, seismic shock resistance, self-cleaning properties, and damage resistance.

Structural Features
The core wire is the insulating part of the composite insulator, made of fiberglass rods and designed to ensure the necessary mechanical properties. The fiberglass rod used to make silicone rubber insulators is a core material manufactured through a protruding process using boron-free ECR grade fiberglass with the required mechanical and electrical properties.
