The filter cartridge is a star shaped filter cartridge formed by folding the filter material of a certain length into pleats and bonding the head and tail. The filter cartridge has no cage bone and is easy to install.
There are many kinds of filter cartridges, including thin and long ones and thick and short ones. Slender filter cartridges (e.g φ ≤ 160, L=1~2m), the gap between folds (such as 45 folds) is large, the included angle is large, the folds are small and shallow, the filtering area is 2~5 times larger than that of the filter bag with the same diameter and length, and the ash removal is easy and the effect is good; It is applicable to filtering and dedusting of dust with concentration ≥ 15g/m, and the filtering wind speed is 0.6~1.2m/min. Short and coarse filter cartridges (e.g φ 350, L=0.66m) with large diameter, short length, many folds (120~350 folds) and deep, small gap between folds, and large filtering area, which is 14~35 times larger than the area of filter bags with the same diameter and length, and is suitable for layout in places with small site area and space; However, due to the small fold angle, the dust is easy to accumulate and difficult to clean, so it is suitable for filtering and dedusting of dust with a concentration ≤ 5g/m, and the filtering wind speed should not be greater than 0.6m/min.
There are three installation modes of the cartridge pulse dust remover: vertical, inclined and horizontal. The filter cartridge is installed vertically, and the dust is easy to fall and settle to the ash hopper during pulse ash cleaning, with good effect. During inclined installation, the filter cartridges are stacked up and down, compact in structure, small in floor area, and easy to replace. However, during ash removal, the dust from the upper filter cartridges sinks on the lower filter cartridges, which is difficult to remove. Horizontal installation makes it more difficult to remove the dust on the upper part of the lower filter cartridge. Inclined installation of filter cartridge dust remover is suitable for dust removal of non viscous, low concentration, coarse dust in medium and small dust removal systems, as well as for transformation of some old bag dust removers.
