5. Observe suspicious readings

If an abnormal reading is found, check for possible test errors (dirty or wet surface, low voltage) to retake the reading. An accurate reading can be obtained if the humidity remains relatively constant. If the humidity is high or one percentage point below the previous reading, the readings obtained are inaccurate.
