Allen Bradley ControlLogix HART Analog I/O Modules 1756-IF16H With Good Price In Stock
The 1756-IF16H is an analog input/output module manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The 1756-IF16H HART analog input module has three data formats: analog only, analog and HART PV, and analog and HART by channel. It has 2 input ranges: 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA. Other features include a module filter, real-time sampling (RTS), under range and over range detection, wire-off detection, and highway addressable remote transducer (HART) communication. The module filter reduces the frequency of the input signal on a module-wide basis. It does so by around -3 dB or 0.707 of the applied amplitude. The module gets instructions for how often to scan the input channels through the RTS and this also happens on a module-wide basis.
A useful function of the 1756-IF16H module is the under range and over range detection system through which it lets the module know if it is operating outside the limits of the input range. The digital filter feature smoothes out the variations of the input noise and it does so on a per channel basis. When a wire-off condition occurs, 2 things happen - input data for that channel changes to the scaled value that corresponds to the under-range condition, and a fault bit is set in the input tag which can indicate the presence of a wire-off condition. The 1756-IF16H module carries out fault and status reporting by sending the data to the controller with its channel data. The sent data is arranged in a way so that the user can easily pick out how minutely the fault conditions should be examined. There are three levels of tags which work together to provide this level of accuracy.
