LoRa wireless water meter uses magnetic resistance sensing technology to provide high precision water acquisition performance, positive and negative acquisition capability and magnetic interference alarm capability, ensuring accuracy and reliability of water meter data. LoRa's advantages are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1- Greatly improve the sensitivity of receiving, reduce power consumption
The link budget of up to 157dB enables communication distances of up to 15km (environment dependent). Its receiving current is only 10mA and sleeping current is 200nA, which greatly delays the battery life.
2-- The gateway/concentrator based on this technology supports multi-channel and multi-data rate parallel processing, and the system capacity is large.
A gateway is a bridge between a node and an IP network (via 2G/3G/4G or Ethernet). Each gateway can handle 5 million communications between nodes per day (assuming 10Bytes per transmission and 10% network usage).
