An inch and a half needle is slightly longer. If the diameter is less than 0.25mm, it is easier to bend the needle. If you are not very confident in your needle feeding technology, you can use a needle wi th a diameter of 0.30mm. If you are not confident, you can use a needle with a diameter of 0.35mm and a thicker diameter, which is more flexible and less easy to bend. Under the same needle feeding methods and techniques, the thicker the diameter, The more painful the patient is when the needle is inserted.
Two inches (50mm): the key points are basically the same as (one inch and a half), which is suitable for acupoints requiring more than one inch and a half deep needling.
Three inch (75mm): it is often used to prick hip acupoints or through stabbing at a medium distance. The diameter of 0.30mm is relatively moderate. Some doctors like to use 0.25mm or even 0.35mm diameter, depending on personal treatment habits and clinical needs.
Four inches (100mm): its key points are basically the same as (three inches). It is often used to prick hip acupoints or through stabbing at a medium distance. The stimulation amount of 0.40mm diameter is large, depending on personal treatment habits and clinical needs.
