Product Description
Large-scale sintered crucible
Tungsten powder or molybdenum powder is sintered molding directly, or molding by hot isostatic pressing. They’re mostly used to produce the large-scale crucible of sintering furnace, crystal growth furnace, glass melting and rear earth metallurgy equipment. Especially, the wall thickness of crucibles for sapphire crystal growth furnace used in KY method, EFG method, and heat exchange method is usually between 8mm and 15mm.; the diameter is usually between 100mm and 600mm; the height is usually between 50mm and 700mm. The purity of this kind of crucible is: W≥99.95%,the density can up to 18.2g/cm3,under special requirement, we can adopt the hot isostatic pressing technology to make the density up to 18.6g/cm3. The density of molybdenum crucible can usually up to about 10.0g/cm3.
Achemetal has the capacity of producing super large-scale crucible, which diameter and height are both over 1 meter. Meanwhile, we’re also capable to produce various sintered tungsten crucibles or molybdenum crucibles for sapphire crystal growth furnace.
Applications:
1.Sintered molybdenum crucibles are mainly used in metallurgy industry, mechanism process industry and rare earth smelting industry;
2.They are more frequently used in crystalloid materials and other burgeoning high-tech industries;
3.The crucibles should be used in vacuum or deoxidize atmosphere and the highest using temperature should be no more than 2000ºC.

5.We can provide two kinds of molybdenum crucibles according to different processing methods: Sintering products with density ranges from 9.8g/cc to 10g/cc; Forging products with 10.2g/cc density.
6.They also can be produced according to the customer drawing.
