REVERSING SPEARS
There is another kind of spear which is called reversing spear, a counter clockwise thread for tool joint at the upper part of the spear body, while the expansion sleeve has clockwise thread. The guide cone at the lower part can make the expansion sleeve of the spear conveniently screw the fish connection. Raising the drilling tool, the expansion sleeve can hold the fish firmly, then reversing.

The reversing spear in reversing operation owns two functions which can go fishing and transfer left-hand torque at the same time. It is a special internal fishing and reversing tool which can replace left-hand taper tap.
