HDPE Geocell Description:
HDPE Geocell Slope Protection is a perforated cellular confinement system engineered from HDPE sections for maximum performance. HDPE Geocellis are available in a number of depth and cell opening combinations. HDPE Geocell Slope Protection is supplied in a folded configuration that minimizes transport costs to the site yet can be readily expanded on site for very quick installation. HDPE Geocellhas have been perforated to ensure that each cell does not become water saturated during use.

HDPE Geocell for Slope Protection Project in Myanmar
Geocell for slope protection is the important application field among many HDPE geocell applications. HDPE Geocell is manufactured from high density polyethylene with three dimensional honeycomb structures and jointly welded by ultrasonic technics. BPM HDPE geocell is widely used for soil stabilization, slope protection, load support, etc. The geocell will be filled with soils, granular, cements or other on-site infill materials when stretched into web structures. If filled small solid, small grid geocell is preferred. On the contrary, larger geogrid geocell is chose to fill large goods.
HDPE Geocell for slope protection provides long-term durability and high tensile strength to withstand a large amount of lateral force for erosion control, soil stabilization on flat ground, shorelines, steep slopes, multi-layered retaining walls, channel protection and structural reinforcement for heavy duty load support roads and earth retention. HDPE Geocell is the ideal geotechnical material to stabilize the dam of the reservoir or river. HDPE geocell can be stronger when be filled with concrete to support heavy traffic close to the road. Geocell can also improve resistance to erosive forces on steep, unstable slopes exposed to hydraulic or mechanical depths.

The Myanmar customer found BPM through google geocell search. BPM recommended using textured geocell with 1.5mm thickness for slope stabilization through communication by email. The reasons were as below:
Textured geocell can improve the friction coefficient between the geocell and the soil so that textured geocell can protect the soil from loss.
Textured geocell is generally used for slope protection and afforestation, construction of reinforced retaining walls and green walls.
Finally, the Myanmars customer placed the order for HDPE geocell 150-450 about one 20GP container to us by negotiation.
