The water through the carbon bed and the organic contaminants in the water are effectively adsorbed by activated carbon. In addition, effective adsorption on the surface of activated carbon is achieved. Activated carbon was used to remove low molecular organic compounds, free chlorine and odorous compounds and heavy metal ions in water. Its design flow velocity is 15m/h, backwash strength is 10l/m²s.
