Applicatiopn
The multiconductor Topflex H05VV-F cable has been specially designed for connecting small home appliances such as vacuum cleaners, washing machines, refrigerators, etc. It is recommended for household installations and can also be used for light mobile services.
Characteristics
1.Excellent Flexibility. The use of flexible copper conductors and the construction of the insulation and the outer sheath assure a high flexibility.
2.Fire Proof Properties. Its no flame propagation qualities ensure the overall safety of the installation.
Installation conditions
Nominal current capacities.
Table shows the current-carrying capacities, in permanent service, in A, in different installation conditions. The values shown are based on HD 516.
Open air installation: an ambient temperature of 30℃ is supposed and an installation which allows effective air renewal.
Voltage drop is the maximum that may occur. It is calculated to the maximum service temperature and for cosΦ=1.A single-phase circuit is supposed for two and three core cables. Three-phase circuit is supposed for four and five core cables.
-Conductor: Flexible electrolytic annealed flexible copper conductor, class 5 in accordance with IEC 60228.
-Insulation: PVC insulation type TI2, according to HD 21. The standard identification as per HD 308 is by colours.
-Outer sheath: High flexible PVC outer sheath type TM2, according to HD 21. Standard colours are grey, white and black (other colours available upon request).
-Packaging: Available in sealed coils (50m and 100m length) and drums.
