Application:
Vicat Apparatus is designed to determine the initial and final setting time of cement and mortar paste.
The Vicat frame consists essentially of a metal stand with a sliding rod. An adjustable indicator moves over a graduated scale. The needle or plunger is attached to the bottom end of the rod to make up the test weight of 300 g.
Features:
Adjustable indicator measures at either orientation on 0-50 x 1mm scale
Reversible stainless steel rod has 10mm plunger on one end and 1mm double-threaded needle on the other
