Cement Vicat Needle Apparatus /Cement testing equipment
The Vicat testing apparatus is used to test the moisture content and setting time of standard cement paste, it is kind of common Cement testing equipment.
The Vicat instrument adopt 9597-1989 Standard ( cement Test Method-Mixer Standard denseness water dosage,concreting time test )
Fit for Portland cement, normal Portland cement,scoria Portland cement,coal powder Portland cement,pozzolan Portland cement and compound Portland cement.
The apparatus used to determine the quantity of water required to produce a cement paste of standard consistency.
The apparatus consists of a metal frame with a sliding rod. An adjustable indicator moves over a graduated scale.
The needle or plunger is attached to the bottom end of the rod.
