Aerial Bundle Cable

1). Standard: IEC60502, NF C33-209, GB 12527-90

2). Rated voltage: 0.6/1kV

3)Construction
Phase conductor are concentrically stranded EC Grade aluminium wires, insulated with either black weather resistant PE, HDPE or XLPE.
Netural messengers are concentrically stranded AAC, AAAC or ACSR. Neutral messenger can either be bare or insulated, depending on ABC design.
Street lighting conductor is provided if required.

4) Type of Service Drop Cable:
Aerial Bundle Cable covers mainly three types:
Duplex Service Drop
Triplex Service Drop
Quadruplex Service Drop

5). Specification:
Concentric strand aluminum wires as phase conductor;
AAAC(all aluminum alloy conductors) or ACSR(aluminum conductor steel reinforced) as messenger (Neutral) core, or no special messenger core;
Phase conductor is insulated by XLPE or HDPE or PVC.

6). Application:
The cable as a new-type aerial cable is used for transmitting electric power overhead, extensively used in rebuilding of urban and forest region electrified wire netting. It improves the safety and reliance of electrified wire netting.

IEC61089, ASTM B231, ASTM B232, BS215, DIN48201, DIN48204
1. B-230 Aluminum Wire, 1350-H19 for Electrical Purposes.
2. B-231 Aluminum Conductors, Concentric-Lay-Stranded.
3. B-232 Aluminum Conductors, Concentric-Lay-Stranded, Coated Steel Reinforced (ACSR).
4. B-399 Concentric-Lay_Stranded 6201-T81 Aluminum Alloy Conductors.
5. B498 Zinc-Coated Steel Core Wire for Aluminum Conductors, Steel Reinforced (ACSR).
6. Duplex Service Drop cable meets or exceeds all applicable requirements of ANSI/ICEA S-76-474
