S45C
Medium Carbon Steel
Equivalent Grades: DIN C45, Ck45, Cf45, JIS S45C, DIN C45, ASTM 1045, and GB 45. S45C steel are often used for manufacture of stamping products, sleeve, automobile shell, air compressors, pistons of vane pump, steam turbine, shafts of machine, worm, gear, crankshaft, spindle, drum, fitter tools and the products which are with wear-resisting or high strength.

Conditions of heat treatment
- Annealing: 880℃ Furnace Cooling
- Normalization: 880~870℃ Air Cooling
- Hardening: 820~870℃ Water Cooling
- Tempering: 550~650℃ Rapid Cooling
