Model DPF-2 Electrolytic Polishing and Etching Instrument is a collection of Electrolytic Polishing and Etching Instrument as the metallographic sample preparation instrument. It is suitable for factories, colleges and universities and research institutions for laboratory using.
This Instrument adopted the electrochemical principle to do the preparation of metallographic sample. Using the preparation of Electrolytic Polishing and Etching Instrument of metallographic specimen to avoid the mechanical polishing bring deformation layer, so its organization is real and have no illusions. So is the best method of the preparation of titanium, aluminum, copper and other non-ferrous metal and high temperature alloy samples. The instrument design has high working voltage and large working current, for a large size sample preparation of metallographic with large margin, especially suitable for the preparation of welding metallographic specimen.
This instrument is characterized by its continuous, stable and adjustable output of electric current and voltage for the electrolytic polishing and etching, and by its showing in actual time the working voltage, electric current, polishing (etching) time and the temperature of the electrolyte, as well as by its easily repetition of the polishing and etching processes. All this is useful to determine the metallographic composition and thermal processing. And more over, the polished (corroded) superficial space is adjustable, that is, it may be adjusted according to the actual conditions of the specimen, and hence the instrument is suitable to make samples of all kinds of materials, sizes, and shapes..
This instrument adopts special methods for the recycling and cooling of the electrolyte with a high efficiency of polishing, better than other stirring and mixing methods.
The instrument's housing using double anticorrosion structure: stainless steel and surface spray, fluid reservoir made by special acid proof materials, to assure the long and reliable use of the instrument.
The instrument has leakage protection function.
