Conductor Screen :Extruded semi-conductive layer.
Insulation XLPE.
Insulation Screen: Extruded semi-conductive layer.
metallic Screen(optional): Copper wire screen or copper tape screen.
Separator Semi-conductive swellable tape.
Outer Sheath: HDPE.
Support Conductor: Galvanized steel wires.
Assembly: Three XLPE insulated screened cores are bundled around the galvanized steel wires in a right hand lay.
Description:
ABC Power Cable has an Aluminum Alloy conductor with a XLPE sheath.
ABC Power Cable usually has 3 cores plus neutral, the neutral can either be bare or insulated and the cable can have a street light of 25mm².
ABC Power Cable is available in 600/1000V, 635/11kV or 12,7/22kV. We stock 1 core, 2 core and 3 core Aluminum Alloy cable Aerial Bunched Kabel .
Construction:
1.Stranded Aluminum/Aluminum Alloy conductor
2.PE or XLPE insulation
3.ACSR, AAAC,Galvanized steel wire Messenger wire
3 power cores consisting of standard aluminum conductors, insulated with XLPE insulation
+ One sheath lighting aluminum conductor with XLPE insulation(optional)
+ One messenger Al-alloy conductor (bare or covered)
The purpose of messenger wire is
A) It acts as load bearing wire.
B) It acts as earth or neutral conductor
Application 11kv abc cable 3x25+54.6mm2 aluminum wire twisted Aerial cable.
For single core PVC or XLPE insulated or covered aerial cable without messenger or neutral conductor,
the phase conductor may be AAC or AAAC or ACSR or Copper.
For more than one core PVC or XLPE insulated 11kv abc cable with or without messenger or
neutral conductor and with or without street lighting conductor, the phase conductor and street lighting conductor are AAC with PVC insulation,and the messenger or neutral conductor is AAAC or ACSR with or without PVC(XLPE) insulation.

Rated voltage: Up to and including 0.6/1(1.2)kV;
permissible continuous operating temperature of conductor: 90oC(XLPE insulated), 70 oC (PE insulated), 70 oC (PVC insulated); temperature of conductor during short-circuit ( 5s max. duration) shall not exceed: 250oC(XLPE insulated), 130 oC (PE insulated), 160 oC (PVC insulated); 11kv abc cable
The ambient temperature under installation should not be lower than: -20 oC.
