DBK model air applied caliper disc brake is composed of braking pads, piston, air chamber, fan cover, braking disc, fixed bolt, fixed frame and so on. This brake relies on air pressure to brake, return springs for release. After supplying air pressure, piston pushes friction pads moved toward to and compressed braking disc, producing resisting torque, until disc and other rotating parts stopped, brake linked. When exhausting air pressure, piston and friction pads back and separated with braking disc by return springs, brake released. 

Its response is sensitive, torque control precise. Piston sealing part is without oil. Lining thickness is 10mm, max abrasion is 6mm. When lining abrasion reached to 4mm, using screwdriver to take out head inside screw through hole of disc with hub to replace lining.  

This pneumatic points caliper disc brake is equiped with a cooling fan on the top of brake, it is good for heat dissipation. With this structure, it can reduce friction pads' surface temperature, so as to prolong DBK250 pneumatic caliper disc brake's service life.

This point pneumatic caliper disc brake is widely applied in aluminum foil, tissue, carton board, paper, plastic film, wire & cable and other industries. DBK air brake can be used as a brake and tension controller as needed. When DBK250 worked as a tension controller, it is usually matched with air expanding shaft, mechanical chuck or safety chuck together, like this:

In this situation, mechanical chuck is used to load and unload paper roller, and DBK250 multiple caliper disc brake is used for paper roller unwinding tension control, so as to make rolled and unrolled paper roller tension smooth and tidy.
