The ceramic bond has high strength, good heat resistance, sharp cutting, high grinding efficiency, not easy to generate heat and blockage during grinding, small thermal expansion, easy to control machining accuracy, and easy to dress. Vitrified bond abrasives are generally used for precision grinding, semi-precision grinding, forming grinding with larger contact area, and grinding of sintered diamond abrasives.
Compared with resin diamond grinding wheel, ceramic diamond grinding wheel has the following advantages
1. The ceramic diamond grinding wheel has high durability and good shape retention. Its durability is 2-3 times that of resin grinding wheels under the same grinding conditions. The grinding wheel has strong abrasive grain binding force, uniform and stable wear, and the shape of the grinding wheel is not easy to change.
2. Good sharpness, and its grinding efficiency is about 2 times that of resin grinding wheels
3. Good repairability, with the same correctability as ordinary ceramic corundum and silicon carbide grinding wheels
4. It has superiority in the production of grinding wheels with a particle size of 0-0.5μm for superfinishing, which is the bottleneck of resin grinding wheels
Compared with resin grinding wheel, the comprehensive cost of grinding can be reduced by 20%-30%.
Applied to:In addition to the processing of metal materials such as cemented carbide and high-speed steel,it can also be widely used in the grinding of external circular surfaces such as fine ceramics, ferrite, glass and other hard and brittle non-metallic materials.
