The proportional valve is a hydraulic control valve between the ordinary hydraulic valve and the electro-hydraulic servo valve. It is mostly used in open-loop hydraulic systems to realize remote control of hydraulic parameters, and can also be used as a signal conversion and amplification component for closed-loop control systems.
