BOCHI Pit Turbine

The Pit Tubular type turbines(also called through flow turbine or Straflo hydroturbine) is the best selection for exploitation of tidal power and hydraulic power with extremely low heads and extremely large flow rates. They have the peculiarity such as large discharge, high flow speed, high efficiency and less excavation, etc. They have been classified into BuIb, Pit, Siphon and “S” types in the light of their structural type. Bochi has the ability to supply all types of Tubular turbine mentioned above.

Now, Bochi has 20 varieties of tubular turbines, ranging from 2 to 25 m in water head, 0.2 to 32MW in capacity and 0.8 to 7 m in runner diameter. They are thought to be the best selection for exploitation of low head hydropower resources in China.
