Carbon Steel Baffle Plate Parts for Heat Exchanger Tube Sheets Baffle Plate
The baffle plate is a plate used to change the flow direction of the fluid. It is often used in the design of shell-side medium flow channels in shell and tube heat exchangers. The number of baffles is determined according to the nature and flow rate of the medium and the size of the heat exchanger. The baffle is set on the shell side, which can not only improve the heat transfer effect, but also support the tube bundle. There are two types of baffles, bow-shaped and disc-circular, and there are three types of bow-shaped baffles: single bow, double bow and triple bow.

The Function of Baffle Plate
Extend the length of the flow path of the shell side medium, increase the flow velocity between the tubes, increase the degree of turbulence, and achieve the purpose of improving the heat transfer effect of the heat exchanger.
The provision of baffles has a certain supporting effect on the heat exchange tubes of the horizontal heat exchanger. When the heat exchange tube is too long and the pressure stress on the tube is too large, increase the number of baffle plates and reduce the spacing of the baffle plates to meet the pressure drop allowed by the heat exchanger tube The stress of the heat exchange tube and the prevention of fluid flow induced vibration have a certain role.
The provision of baffles is conducive to the installation of heat exchange tubes.
Packaging :
1.Antirust treatment will be retreated before packing (except stainless steel).
2.After antirust treatment or no need rust carry out sponges and winding membranes package.
3.All the products are packed in fully enclosed wooden cases. Wooden case is free fumigation and suitable for shipping, wooden inwall has anti bump and moistureproof film.
4.At the wooden case bottom have 180mm supporting leg, convenient forklift and crane lifting rope handling.
5.After packing finished use steel seal to sealing and fixing.
