Features
The Pressure Temperature (TP) Valve is designed to protect the users and tank of the solar water heater.
The PT relief valve controls the temperature and pressure of the system within safe parameters.
Preventing hot water from being able to reach temperatures of over 90°C and pressure in excess of 8 Bars (116 PSI).
On reaching these settings, the valve discharges a sufficient amount of water into the atmosphere so that the temperature and pressure return to within the system’s safe operating limits.
