Product Description:
Welded Gabion Basket is a welded mesh of variable sizes, uniformly partitioned into internal cells, interconnected with other similar units, the diaphragm gives strength to the container to retain its original shape, and filled with stone at the project site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures , Selvedge / Edge wire which is a thicker and heavier wire is used to reinforce the edges and transverse diaphragm. It gives greater rigidity and shape to the Gabion Basket.
The wire used to manufacture welded gabion wire mesh is soft annealed, mild steel wire provided with heavy zinc coating as per EN 10244/ASTM A 641 to prevent corrosion. In case of use in aggressive environments, it is further extruded with 0.5mm -1mm thick PVC Coating.

How to install welded gabion box:
After checking you have all the components, open out the mesh panels.
Lift the side panels into vertical position and join by feeding the correct length of helical formed spiral into the corner, using a rotating action, until the helical is fully engaged.
When the helical is fully engaged, the formed end should lock in place.
All panel joints (vertical joints) are formed by assembling to the adjacent panel. Each joint is retained with one helical.
Repeat the filling and stiffener wire installation until the gabion is full and then close the lid by joining with the correct helical while ensuring the top mesh bears down on the rock fill.
