MARIMO Manual Marine Loading Arm is manually operated and specifically designed for the medium-range application requiring the critical products. The size of Panda Loading Arm is ranging from 6’’ to 8’’ and its temperature ranging from -20℃ to +80℃. Because of different built-in materials, it can handle various critical products and so as to adjust to the different physical and chemical characteristics of the substances to be transferred, no matter whether they are toxic, aggressive, or explosive.
MARIMO Hydraulic Marine Loading Arm is hydraulically operated and specifically designed for long reach applications requiring the transfer of critical substances. The size of Hydraulic Marine Loading Arm is ranging from 8’’ to 20’’ and its temperatures ranging from -196℃ to +250℃. It can handle various hazardous products. The scope of products transferred can be increased with the option of lining and/or heating the loading arm. Of course the Marine Loading Arm is also suited for high-pressure services. Hydraulic operation requires 2 drives for inboard and outboard arm movement and 1 drive for slewing(rotation) movement. It is operated either from the ship by radio control or maneuvered via local control panel.
- The state of individual arms is visually indicated. An optional touch screen panel allows the visualization and processing of further information.
- Alarm System: when the loading arm move to the limit position or through the vessel drift to the limit position, the control system will signal, trigger the audio-visual alarm, indicate the operators to take action.
- In case of Power or Pressure failure, hand pump can be used for backup power.
- Detection of limit switch: control system can connect to all the limit switches to automatically monitor the loading arm configuration. Alarm will be activated in case of switch failure.

MARIMO Cryogenic Marine Loading Arm is a hydraulic loading arm specially designed for transferring liquefied gas (LNG ethylene). This arm operates at temperatures down to -196℃ and at an internal design pressure of up to 45 bar. The material of process pipe is SUS304L. the MARIMO cryogenic swivel joints are made of special high-quality stainless steel that is characterized by an extreme hardness and ductility even at very low temperatures.
The redundant dynamic seals are made of UHMWPE. This material with practically no measurable wear and tear is well suited for very low temperatures.
With the help of concentric liner. The inner and outer ball raceways are kept free from direct contact with the extremely cold substance. This results in a steady-going cool down so that cryogenic swivel joints do not require a cooling phase beyond regular cool own of ship and shore side piping which is a very important criterion for an instant and rapid start of the transfer. Instead of grease lubrication, cryogenic swivel joints adopt nitrogen purging system for ball raceways. The system has extremely low nitrogen wastage.
