A106 class B tube ASTM A106 Class B Seamless Pressure Pipe (ASME SA106) is used in power plants, boilers, petrochemical plants, oil and gas refineries, and ships where pipelines must transport fluids and gases with high pressures and temperatures. At American Piping Products, we distribute pipelines that meet ASME's latest chemical standards. We have a full range of ASTM A106 Class B (ASME SA106 Class B): NPS1?4" to 30" diameter Schedule 10 to 160, STD, XH and XXH Schedule 20 to XXH Wall thickness exceeds XXH, including: - Maximum 4" wall, 20" to 24" OD - Max 3" wall, 10" to 18" OD - Max 2" wall, 4" to 8" OD *Customer Special Note: Due to changes in A106 and SA106, please indicate on the purchase order whether you need SA106 in particular. Please refer to the chemical changes allowed in the A/SA106 specification sheet. Please note that ASTM International (formerly known as the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM)) is inconsistent with ASME's specifications for Class B seamless pressure piping. ASTM A106 Class B pipes and ASME SA 106 Class B pipes now have an acceptable proportion of manganese in different specification ranges.
