Introductions:
Wheelchair Restraint System is the wheelchair & occupant secure system which installed on vehicle.
Each component is designed, engineered and tested to work as one cohesive system.
In the event of collision or sudden stop, this system isolates the forward forces of the occupant from those of their chair by directing the chair's forces to the vehicle floor.
There is self-adjusting and self-tensioning equipment which can offer an easy, quick and flexible solution to securing wheelchairs.
These systems are the easy and fast securing 4-point systems, reducing vehicle wait times for transportation.
It has passed the test of ISO 10542-1:2012.
Wheelchair securement systems should be installed at right place so that other spare parts of vehicle are not within the frontal clear space, except for other spare parts that are effectively padded. Clear space requirements for securement system are based on the potential movements of the occupant during a crash.
