Introduction of 10kV XLPE Insulated Overhead Cable
XLPE insulated or covered overhead cable without or with conductor screen, the phase conductor may be AAC or AAAC or ACSR or Copper.
Operating Characteristics of 10kV XLPE Insulated Overhead Cable
Operating voltage: 10kV;
Max. permissible continuous operating temperature of conductor with XLPE insulation: 90°C;
Max. temperature of conductor during short-circuit (5s max. duration) shall not exceed: 250°C;
The ambient temperature under installation should not be lower than: -20°C;
The bending radius of cable is recommended as following:
Single core cable: not less than 20 times of the diameter of cable;
Multi-core cable: not less than 15 times of the diameter of cable.
Application of 10kV XLPE Insulated Overhead Cable
10kV XLPE insulated overhead cable as a new-type overhead cable is used for overhead electric power transmission and distribution, extensively used in rebuilding of urban and forest region electrified wire netting. It improves the safety and reliance of electrified wire netting.
