Insulation of YJV Cable
Cross-linked polyethylene is a cross-linked polyethylene that converts linear molecular structure of polyethylene into a three-dimensional network structure using chemical methods and physical methods, thereby greatly improving the thermo-mechanical properties of polyethylene, thereby maintaining excellent electrical properties performance. The maximum rated operating temperature of the conductors of cross-linked polyethylene insulated power cables is 90℃, which is higher than that of PVC insulated and polyethylene insulated cables. Therefore, the cable's current carrying capacity is further improved.
Operating requirements of YJV Cable
1. Working temperature
Conductor maximum rated operating temperature 90℃;
Conductor short circuit temperature: the maximum temperature must not exceed 250℃ and the maximum time should not exceed 5 seconds.
2. Installation and laying temperature
Cable installation and laying temperature not lower than 0℃;
Laying in air: ambient temperature 40℃;
Laying in the soil: ambient temperature 25℃.
Storage and transportation of YJV Cable
When cables are stored, they should be packaged to avoid long-term open-air sunlight exposure. Both ends of the cable should be reliably sealed. Long-term storage in a humid environment is not allowed, and cable trays cannot be laid flat. When transporting, it is necessary to consider the height of the plate and effectively fix it. When hoisting, it is not allowed to hoist several plates at the same time. It is forbidden to push down from a height.
