AUTO LIGHT-WEIGHT AUTOMATIC GIRTH WELDER (National patent: 200920231027.6) is specifically designed for the automatic girth welding of vertical tank and ship hull. It mainly consists of light-duty supporting structure, travelling driving system, welding head adjusting mechanism, welding gun wire feeding combined system, welding flux recycling system, welding flux roller supporting mechanism and welding power source. It can be quickly installed on all small and big diameter vertical tank and ship hull. It can adopt SAW welding, which is formed by ceramics backing, to complete automatic root pass, fill and capping for girth seam, thus both welding efficiency and welding quality can be substantially improved.
