BN-S300 CNC CBN Insert milling engine block with high efficiency

The cutting tools need to be used in high speed condition, and have long tool life.
CBN Insert, the hardness is only second to diamond tools, has stable cutting performance, long tool life, and has been widely used. CBN Insert are mainly used for milling and boring engine block with gray cast iron materials. Specific for different process, we can choose different cbn grade, and can obtain best performance.
Specific for milling the endsurface and face of the engine, Halnn recommend BN-S300 solid cbn insert, it not only can be used for large margin in roughing process, but also can meet the roughness Ra1.6 in finishing process.
Specific for boring process of engine, Halnn recommend brazing Pcbn insert BNK30 and BN-K20, BNK30 is one new materials for machining gray cast iron parts in high speed condition, the cutting speed can reach 200m/min, it has been widely used in engine processing.
When milling engine block end surface, if the margin is large and the cutting speed is high, the cutting tools will be easily chipping or wear rapidly.
