Characteristics and Application of High Alumina Brick
High aluminum refractory brick belongs to the silicate aluminum refractory, it is a common refractory produced from refractory clay and high bauxite. High Aluminum Brick Features
1.Refractoriness
High alumina brick refractoriness is higher than clay brick and semi-silica brick refractoriness, up to 1750 ~ 1790 ℃, which belongs to high-grade refractory materials.
2.Load softening temperature
Because high-alumina products in the high Al2O3, less impurities, the formation of fusible glass less, so the load softening temperature than clay brick, but the mullite crystallization does not form a network of organizations, so the load softening temperature is still not higher than silica bricks.
3.Slag resistance
There are more Al2O3 in high alumina brick, close to the neutral refractory material, can resist the acid slag and alkaline slag erosion, because it contains SiO2, so the ability to resist alkaline slag resistance than acid slag weak.
