From the definition, water based pigment paste is that can be used or water-based system coloring or coating. And whether means the hydrophilic of all water based pigment paste is very good?

Hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties of the materials are depends on the structure of the material itself. Some small molecules with polar groups, such as hydroxyl (-OH), carboxyl (-COOH), is similar polarity with water,  so it has good compatibility with water. These auxiliaries which are used to prepare water based pigment paste by CAISON engineers, so the pigment paste formulation has very good hydrophilic, and finished water based pigment paste also has better hydrophilic. When it is used for textile pigment printing, textile fibers (especially cotton fibers) has good hydrophilic, so textile fibers also has good compatibility with these water based pigment paste in water based coloring system.


Studies show that water-based paste is not generalized，different hydrophilic values have important influence on coloring application of water based pigment paste.
