expansion coefficient which structure is orthorhombic system and brookite crystallization. Aluminium titanate has higher melting point (1860℃) , lower thermal expansion coefficient and excellent heat-shock resistance. Besides, aluminum titanate has the characteristics of slag resistance , corrosion resistance and alkali-resistance . And it doesn't infilitrate with metals and glass melt. Therefore , aluminum titanate are mainly used in the fields of low-pressure casting , non-ferrous metal metallurgy , automobile , chemical industry , glass , ceramic and so on.
