It can stand up to high temperature and its intensity will not decline till 1200℃ , silicon nitride can not be molten into eutectic mixture after heating until 1900℃. It has excellent chemical corrosion resistance , can resist almost all inganic acid and caustic soda solution which is below 30%, as well as much organic acid. Silicon nitride is also a kind of material with high performance for electrical insulation.
