INTRODUCTION:
G. STAR HDPE hot melted fittings include injection-molded fittings and fabricated fittings. Molded fittings are typically fully pressure rated, since the body of the molded fitting is thicker than the pipe to provide additional strength and maintain the intended pressure rating. This type of fittings includes butt fusion fittings and socket fusion fittings. Fabricated fittings also have good characteristics which are convenient to install.
