Brief Introduction
Reverse osmosis technology is the most advanced and most energy-saving techniques for membrane separation. The principle of reverse osmosis membrane, sodium filtration equipment and PP cotton, etc. is to separate these materials form water when osmotic pressure solution is lower, regarding that other substances can not go through a semi-permeable membrane. As the pore size of reverse osmosis membrane is very small (only 10A or so), it can effectively remove dissolved salts, colloids, microorganisms, organic matter, etc. (with a high rate as 97-98%).

Reverse osmosis technique is commonly used in the fields of changing seawater, brackish water into fresh water; water softening; wastewater treatment and the purification, concentration and separation of food, medicine, chemical industry, etc. In addition, reverse osmosis technique achieves good results when applied for desalination pre-treatment, as it leads the load on ion exchange resins to a reduction of more than 90%, at the same time, the recycled resin dosage can be reduced by 90%. Therefore, the system is not only cost-saving, but also environmental-friendly. Besides, reverse osmosis techniques can also be used for remove particles, organic substances and colloidal materials in water. It plays an important role in reducing the pollution of the ion exchange resin and extending the life span of the system.
