Disodium Phosphate Food Grade

1. Chemical Name: Disodium hydrogen phosphate(food additive)

2. Molecular Formula: Na₂HPO₄·12H2O, Na₂HPO₄·2H₂O, Na₂HPO₄

3. Molecular Weight: 358.057

4. Character: Colourless rhombic crystalline or prismatic crystal, easily soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol. The relative density is 1.63 and melting point is 34.6 ℃. If heated to 180 ℃, it will lose crystal water and convert to anhydrous.

5. Use: In food industry, it is used as agent for bake to avoid oxidation stain and as emulsifier in dairy product to prevent egg white from solidifying. It is also used as emulsifier and chalate agent for solid drinks.

6. Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as the liner and a compound plastic woven bag as the outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg. 

7. Storage & Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from moistrue and hot. Furthermore, it shuold be stored separately from poisonous substances. Unload with care as to avoid damaging the bags.
