Product Feature :
Potassium Bicarbonate is colorless andtransparent crystal. The relative density is 2.17. It is stable in the air. Itis soluble in water, forming a slightly alkaline solution, but insoluble inalcohol. The solution can not react with magnesium salt yielding precipitate ofalkaline salt. It begins to decompose at 100℃ and completelydecomposes and turns into Potassium Cabonate losing carbon dioxide and water at120℃.
Applications:
Potassium Bicarbonate is used as a raw materialproducing potassium carbonate, potassium acetate and potassiumarsenite. Also it is a fire-extinguishing agent for oil andchemicals. It is used in medicine and baking.
Handling andStorage:
Store in dry ventilated house away frommoisture.Don't store in goods yards or expose to the air.Protect the materialfrom rain when loading and unloading. Be sure to keep from contaminant.Avoidhandling and transporting together with acid substances. In the event of afire,use water as extinguishing agent.
