What sizes does industrial bulk bag come in?
Industrial bulk bags come in many different sizes and styles but can be customized for your product. Most bags come with a standard base dimension of 35\" x 35\" but once again all bags can be customized for your product.
How do you move a industrial bulk bag?
Bulk bags can be lifted one of the following examples:
1. 10\" lift loops
2. stevedore straps
3. lifting sleeves
4. single point crane lift
Can industrial bulk bags be used more than once?
Industrial bulk bags can be used more than once if you have a bag with a 6:1 SF. Some users reuse a FIBC with a 5:1 SF but this is not recommended! If you reuse a industrial bulk bag with a 5:1 SF you have to take into consideration that the fabric might be worn down or the loops could be breaking down, etc. If you plan on using a bag more than once it is recommended that you custom order it with a 6:1 SF.
Applications:
Industrial bulk bags (also known as jumbo bags, jumbo sacks, big bags and FIBCs) are extremely versatile and can hold a variety of wet and dry materials including: chemicals, minerals, dyes, resins, detergents, foodstuffs, sugar, salt, nuts, plastics, grain, clay, cement, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, seed, sand, flour, rice, ground rubber, beans and refractory products. Bulk bags may also be used to divert mudslides, small streams, and to hold waste on oil rigs.
Some styles of industrial bulk bags may be filled with sand and used for flood control.
